SEOUL, May 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korea, fresh from tough talks with the United States for a bilateral free trade agreement, will launch this week similar negotiations with the European Union, the world's largest market in terms of gross domestic product (GDP).
South Korean Trade Minister Kim Hyun-chong and EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson will meet in Seoul on Sunday to make official the start of the negotiations on Monday. The first round in Seoul is scheduled to last five days. |
